Welcome to another copy and paste blog post, courtesy of our pals at Monster Children.
If you didn’t head out to Redfern Surf Club last night, you missed a good one.

We, Monster Children and our mates at Levi’s® and pro skater Le’andre Sanders threw a huge party/skate jam/film Q&A, and everyone had fun—even the guy who popped his elbow out (and back in again) on the batwing in the carpark. We got a sneak peek of Le’andre’s incredible new documentary (Skategoat), peppered him with questions, and then headed out back to kick off the skate comp. Le’andre handed out wads of cash to the best in show, and a few picklebacks later, things got foggy and these shots by Dougal Gorman is all we’ve got to show for it.
Huge thanks to Levi’s and Redfern Surf Club, Jameson and The Grifter Brewing Co. for the hydration, and Edie, Alys Hale and Shantan Wantan Ichiban for jumping on the decks. And a massive thanks to the man of the hour, Le’andre Sanders for coming all the way out to Australia and giving us an insight into his upcoming film—and for jumping behind the bar to hand out shots, too!
